EASY-C public workshop

December 5th 2008, Dresden

The objective of EASY-C - Enablers for Ambient Services and sYstems - Wide Area Coverage is to show the feasibility of innovative approaches to further increase data rates of future cellular mobile communication systems beyond LTE and significantly improve the aspects

• Spectral efficiency
• Cell-edge user performance
• System fairness

The most promising techniques will be evaluated in outdoor field trails in downtown Dresden and in Berlin. In the public workshop, the EASY-C partners will present and demonstrate recent achievements to interested technical experts from the public and discuss latest project results and evaluation approaches. The workshop is co-hosted with a meeting of the LTE/SAE Trial Initiative (LSTI), which takes place on December 3rd & 4th in Dresden.
