Panlab at BELIEF-EELA conference in Rio de Janeiro
At the
BELIEF-EELA e-Infrastructures Conference in Rio de Janeiro on 25-28 June 2007, Panlab was represented in the business track plenary session.

Milon Gupta, Eurescom, gave an introduction to the concept of the Pan-European Laboratory and the expected business impact. He underlined the economic importance of federating European test laboratories and testbeds for developing next generation networks and the Internet of the future. The discussion showed that there is considerable interest in Latin America, particularly Brazil, in using large-scale federated testbeds for testing new networks and services.
The session was chaired by Julio Gomes, Chief Information Officer of UNIBANCO, Brazil. The other participants in the business session were:
